As a leading Science Centre in the region, the Singapore Science Centre features 12 exhibition galleries with more than 1,000 exhibits, and another 18,000 sq meters of outdoor fund and activities. Waterworks, one of the latest outdoor exhibitions, showcases intriguing facts about water with interactive displays and mind-boggling structures like a water maze and a 10-metre high water clock.
Some of the other on-going exhibits include the Genome Exhibition, a new permanent exhibition delving into the secrets of life. This exhibition is an avenue for both children and adults to understand the basis of life. It demystifies the subject of genomics and stimulates interest in the Life Sciences by engaging visitors in entertaining, interactive and informative exhibits, murals and graphics. Movie-goers can also experience the full-fledged magic and excitement of the new IMAX DMR Experience in Singapore’s only dome-shaped theatre.
